Vermont Woods Studios

Vermont Woods Studios is a Vermont-based e-commerce platform built around a clear mission: protecting disappearing wildlife habitats while supporting the local craftspeople who shape the Green Mountain State. Serving as a bridge between independent artisans and environmentally conscious consumers, Vermont Woods Studios offers the largest selection of eco-friendly, Vermont-made furniture available online and at their Stonehurst showroom.

At a time when much of the global furniture industry relies on timber from clear-cut rainforests, Vermont Woods Studios takes a different approach. Every piece on their platform is crafted from responsibly sourced North American hardwoods such as cherry, maple, oak, and walnut, and harvested using practices that protect habitats and support long-term forest health.

That commitment extends well beyond materials. To date, Vermont Woods Studios has planted more than 200,000 trees across the Amazon and other vulnerable regions, translating their values into tangible environmental action.

When we first partnered with Vermont Woods Studios in 2017, the focus was straightforward: attract new customers, drive sales, and bring greater visibility to the craftspeople behind the work, though we knew supporting a platform built around independent artisans required a creative approach.

Many of the woodworkers featured on Vermont Woods Studios’ platform don’t have the resources, infrastructure, or time to market their work at scale. Vermont Woods Studios fills that gap, offering both exposure and support–online and through their Stonehurst showroom–while staying deeply connected to the people behind each piece.

As our relationship grew, so did the strategy. On the paid side, we moved fluidly between campaigns designed to grow audience awareness and those focused on e-commerce performance. At times, the priority was expanding reach and bringing new people into the brand. Once growth stabilized, budgets were reallocated toward product-focused campaigns and evolving e-commerce strategies. That balance shifted over the years based on what the business needed most at any given moment. There is no such thing as a fixed formula in the world of social media marketing!

Understanding Vermont Woods Studios meant spending time beyond the screen. We visited the Stonehurst showroom, worked closely with their internal team, and traveled to independent woodshops across Vermont to meet the craftspeople themselves. Seeing the process firsthand — the materials, the techniques, the care—informed everything we shared online.

Those relationships shaped the work, and the numbers and results followed. Content and campaigns were guided by a real understanding of the people, the craft, and the values behind the brand, allowing the story to feel consistent, credible, and lived-in rather than manufactured.
