Volansky Studio
Volansky Studio is a design firm based in Stowe, Vermont. Their team is responsible for stunning homes throughout New England and beyond. As a small team of two they reached out to us in 2020, seeking to establish their social media as a portfolio space to showcase to potential clients. As of 2025, we’ve worked with them for nearly five years helping them evolve their online presence all while enjoying watching their team flourish into a talented group of six architects, designers, and project managers. Social stayed closely by their side as their phones rang off the hook with folks moving to New England during the pandemic and most recently, when one of their projects landed on the cover of New England Home Magazine. This case study explores how our partnership has helped Volansky Studio stand out in a saturated market by turning social media into a powerful extension of their brand.

Turning Social Into a Showroom
The Volansky team expressed early on that they wanted their social media to be something they’d show potential clients. While you can’t give clients tours of all the past homes you’ve designed, you can show them the photos! Having professional, polished photos of completed projects was key to doing this, and we have encouraged the team to partner with a photographer as much as possible to document their hard work. Despite challenges with that, we were able to continuously work together to display their work and tell their story.
We knew that while the team wanted to be able to send folks who already knew about them to their social media, social media would also be key to reaching folks who had yet to discover them.
Through community engagement and a hashtag strategy focused on location, we worked to spread the Volansky Studio name around Vermont and across state borders. New audience members were then greeted with a display of the breathtaking work Volansky has done, and behind that feed was an evolving strategy rooted in collaboration and education that balanced their desires with ever-changing algorithms (we’re looking at you, hashtag strategy!) and new opportunities (hello, reels!).
Designed Together
As a small team, how Volansky works with their clients makes them stand out against their competitors. We wanted this small team and intimate feel to translate to social media. Beyond producing beautiful work, their employees are dedicated to welcoming their clients to be as collaborative in the process as they’d like. To showcase this, we’ve encouraged the team to share the steps behind the scenes that we can share on social: the drafted sketches, renderings, site visits, construction, and all the months upon months of hard work these individuals put into their projects are a story we wanted to share. Although these posts may not be the sparkly, eye-catching photos that potential clients love to see, they tell a deeper story that makes Volansky stand out against the rest.
The Vermont Way
As we’ve shown their work and told their stories, we’ve built a community not just with current or potential clients but with other industry folks and businesses. Vermonters are a supportive crew, and we knew this was something we needed to tap into, crediting other businesses who worked on the project within posts and sharing positive comments on the posts of local businesses. Beyond being a good neighbor and friendly business partner on social media, this strategy has been key in increasing the audience and engagement.
Blueprints for What’s Next
We’re excited to continue with the Volansky Studio team as they grow and thrive in 2025, aligning our social strategy with their values, goals, and brand identity for an ever-growing partnership and success. As their projects evolve and their portfolio expands, we look forward to sharing more of the process, celebrating more milestones, and helping their work reach the people who will be inspired by it most.
