Ann Clark Cookie Cutters
Ann Clark’s story began in 1989 with one pig-shaped Christmas ornament, a serendipitous connection (scroll down until you see a pig!), and a spark of creativity. What started as a garage-based passion project grew quickly, and the Clark family soon shifted from sourcing cookie cutters to manufacturing their own.
When Ann’s son joined the business, he paired her artistic vision with engineering and business know-how, building an efficient production operation in Rutland, Vermont.
Today, Ann Clark Cookie Cutters is America’s largest cookie-cutter manufacturer, offering thousands of shapes and an ever-growing line of baking essentials, all still proudly crafted under Ann’s leadership with a dedicated Vermont team.

Chances are, you’ve picked up an Ann Clark cookie cutter at a local retailer without even realizing it. The bins at Target, Williams Sonoma, and small kitchen shops are often filled with their shapes—something we didn’t fully appreciate until we started working with them. It felt like one of those “big products from our tiny state” moments that Vermonters love. We started working together in 2019 and stayed on as a consistent partner, supporting a brand so many of us in Vermont already admired.
We tested a good mix of creative formats—carousels that highlighted different shape collections, quick product videos, and clean static images—to figure out what actually moved people from browsing to buying.
Since this was pre-iOS14, interest-based audiences and lookalikes were still much more reliable, which helped us widen their reach without letting costs get away from us.
And throughout the process, we checked in regularly with their internal team to make sure promotions, product pages, and overall messaging lined up. The goal was for the ads, the website, and their organic social to feel connected and cohesive, which made the customer experience smoother end-to-end.
During this project, we built a simple, steady full-funnel structure on Meta—cold, warm, and remarketing audiences—back when the platform was already starting to shift beneath everyone’s feet.
A lot of the strategy centered around timing: leaning into high-intent seasonal moments (fall baking, holiday gifting, Valentine’s Day, etc.) while keeping their evergreen bestsellers in rotation so performance stayed consistent throughout the year.
For us, collaborating with a homegrown Vermont brand built from humble beginnings felt especially meaningful, a story that mirrors Olive & Milo in all the best ways.
