SPOT THE DOG
Spot The Dog creates bold, reflective dog bandanas and collars that keep our four-pawed friends safe and seen. They came to us ready to take their social media to the next level with more intentionality and impact, and were so excited to step in! Our goal was to capture the heart of the business and bring it to life on their platforms. The result: a feature in Oprah’s Favorite Things list, an engaged and loyal online community, and a joy-filled social feed featuring adorable pups sporting their new, functional accessories. It just goes to show how homegrown social media has the power to drive visibility and brand awareness in a big way—especially when it's rooted in connection and storytelling.

A Chance encounter
Sometimes, the best collaborations happen by chance. Sophia, the founder of Olive & Milo, was sitting in a hotel lobby waiting for a meeting to start when a familiar face sat down next to her. It was the co-founder of Spot the Dog—someone Sophia had been briefly introduced to once before.
In true small-town fashion, they struck up a conversation. That’s when the owner shared their family’s passion project: A small, family-run business with a big dream of building an online space for like-minded dog owners and the rescue dog community.
It didn’t take long to realize that everything Spot The Dog was working towards aligned perfectly with what Sophia loved most—community, authenticity, and purpose. Just like that, a casual run-in turned into the beginning of a meaningful collaboration.
From the start, Spot The Dog set out to build more than a product—they were creating a lifestyle brand rooted in safety, community, and the bond between people and their pets. Our goal was to bring that vision to life through social media by building an online presence that felt just as genuine, approachable, and heartfelt as the brand itself. Through candid, feel-good content—featuring the founders' rescue dogs in Spot gear (plus guest appearances from Lil Kim, the pig and Elton John, the cow)—we helped tell their story in a way that felt personal and homegrown.
By consistently showcasing the same beloved furry faces, their followers began to feel like part of the Spot family. It wasn’t just about the product anymore—it was about real animals, real stories, and a brand that values authenticity above all.
Where Strategy MeT Stardom
A few months into our partnership, the kind of moment brands dream of happened: Spot the Dog snagged a spot on Oprah’s “Favorite Things” list. *Paws in the air!* It wasn’t just luck; it was in part the power of social media storytelling at work. Through the web of connections, Spot The Dog caught the attention of Oprah’s team. We worked with the Oprah team behind the scenes to help with communication and logistics before the official announcement. Soon after, their brand was featured in a print edition of The Oprah Magazine alongside many recognizable brands.
Proud to Be Part of Their Pack
We loved partnering with Spot The Dog and are grateful they chose us to help share their story. And, of course, we never got tired of seeing adorable pups light up their social media feed!
